What Was in the Alcohol-Free JOMO Club Spring Box?

With January done and dusted and February ending in a rather windy storm, it is fair to say, Spring has never come soon enough! This month at JOMO, we brought Spring a few weeks early to our members homes filled with floral notes, bright colours and vibrant flavours. 

We also launched a brand new JOMO Box. This means we no longer have to wrap our bottles (meaning less waste) and also a better experience for our members! Win win we say.

JOMO Club’s Alcohol-free March Box

Full Bottle of Brunswick Aces Spades Sapiir

Brunswick Aces is the first alcohol-free spirit in Australia. This box brought a full-sized bottle of their Spades which is savoury and fresh on the the palate, leading with notes of green cardamom and parsley, perfectly balanced by sweet citrus and native Australian lemon myrtle, with their distinct Tasmanian pepper berry after note that lingers between sips. 

We have a lot of love for Brunswick Aces as they are far more than a drinks brand. They have also set up the first alcohol-free bar in Australia with ever changing drinks for consumers to try and feel included!

Bottle of Citrus Hops Kombucha 

Full of citrus, floral and tropical flavours, this gut-boosting kombucha injected some sunshine into the March Box. 

A new favourite over at JOMO HQ.

Cloudwater Soda 

Pineapple and Yuzu 

Cloudwater Soda are bringing this drink right from the brewery for those who love hops with a twist. Juicy pineapple, lightly tart and fragrant yuzu, a dash of lime and light floral hop notes. 

Loa Drinks

Lemon and Ginger 

We are bringing all the citrus flavours this month as the flowers burst outside. Loa’s lemon and ginger combines powerful fruits with vital benefits for your body and mind. 

March Serves

Brunswick Aces is of course delicious with tonic, however we wanted to mix things up a little this month to bring all the Spring flavours. 

Cocktail 1: Ace of Spaces 

50ml Brunswick Aces over ice in a rocks glass. Top with L.A. Brewery Kombucha and garnish with lime. 

Cocktail 2: Exotic Desires

50ml Brunswick Aces shaken in a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour into a martini glass and top with chilled Cloudwater Soda. Garnish with rose petals.

Rose Petals and Lime 

Organic and dried to perfection. We have both lime and rose petals to pair with both cocktails this month. 

Coconut Collaborative 

Chocolate Pot (Vegan)

JOMO Club’s first ever dessert, where a spoon is needed and everything. They are so delicious (everything they do) and for those who got their hands on those pots of deliciousness this month are going to love them. Made from coconut milk and perfect as an after dinner treat, they really are little pots of chocolate heaven. 

Raw & Wild 

Turmeric & Ginger Pili Nuts

Made with fresh turmeric and ginger, we are bringing the pili nut back (or Raw & Wild are and we are here for it). Dehydrating the pili nuts to preserve all the vital enzymes, minerals and nutrients, this process breaks down complex starch, neutralises the physic acid found in all nuts and seeds and ignites the ‘life force’ of the nut. 

March’s ingredient card and 20 page members magazine explained how best to make the cocktails and included further cocktail inspiration. The magazine also had a number of articles including a piece from Alcohol Change and a real life journey from Abbie Founder of We Are Raising The Bar - the alcohol-free cocktail subscription box in the USA.
