3 Winners From 2025's World Alcohol-Free Awards

The World Alcohol Free Awards returned for the third year in a row this March. Taking place in London, the World Alcohol Free Awards recognises the top talent across the world within the non-alcoholic category! JOMO Club Founder, Gemma Mills has had the honour of sitting on the judging panel since the first year, along with 32 expert judges.

"It has been fascinating being a judge since the first year of these awards. It demonstrates how fast the alcohol-free drinks industry is evolving, while showcasing the innovation, quality and increased demand for sophisticated non-alc drinks. My fellow judges are absolute experts in their field and located all around the world which is amazing as we get to hear about how the alcohol-free space is progressing in different countries. These are the only awards recognising global talent in the alcohol-free space and I am so thrilled these amazing non-alcoholic brands get the recognition they deserve." JOMO Club Founder, Gemma Mills

GOLD WINNER. JUKES - The Sparkling Red. Featuring in a number of JOMO Club boxes historically in their ready to drink cans and always a huge hit with JOMO members, JUKES Sparkling red is a black fruit sparkling with earthy, deep and spicy tones.

Head of Judging and the mastermind behind these awards, Chrissie Parkinson shares her thoughts on the awards.

"2025 felt like the year when this competition – and this category - really started to make strides. We saw a 30% uplift in entries, with products coming in from over 30 countries. As the biggest competition in this space it gave us a privileged overview of how the world of non-alc is developing.

This year, we saw signs of stylistic maturity in many of the drinks. Sugar use was mostly down, and there was a growing emphasis on pure, more natural flavours. Still white and rosé wines in particular seem to have come a long way in the last couple of years, while wine alternatives and spirit alternatives are categories of innovation and real skill.

Beer has been a solid category for a while, but on our evidence this year the best products here don’t just equal alcoholic equivalents – they can surpass many of them.

It's all proof of real dynamism. Alcohol-free is moving faster than any other part of the drinks world, which is great news for the millions of people all round the world who want to stop drinking alcohol or moderate their consumption. And of course, for the World Alcohol-Free Awards, which will continue to tell them the best drinks to try for many years to come!’
