JOMO Club’s July Alcohol Free Box

Summer is in full swing and what better way to embrace Summer than with cocktails. I have found out recently that I much prefer not drinking in the sun. When the sun is shining my brain immediately tells me ‘You MUST have a drink..the sun is shining!’ But in fact there have been so many times when I have sat in the sun forcing a drink down because it was almost TOO hot to drink alcohol.

It would make me feel a little groggy, even hotter and dehydrated. 

Richard and I took a trip to Soho Farmhouse yesterday. It was boiling hot and we sipped on alcohol-free Pentire Picante’s and my oh my. We weren’t consuming the alcohol but my did we feel far more JOMO than FOMO. It really demonstrated how flavour and experience is everything. It was without a doubt the best alcohol free cocktail I have had when out and when arriving I thought about having one alcoholic Picante at dinner but after trying the alcohol free one, there was absolutely no need. I stayed on Pentire all day. Let’s keep asking for options when out and bars and restaurants will know there is a demand for it and need to put more than one option on their menus!

Pentire Alcohol Free Aperitif 

Full Sized Bottle Of Coastal Spritz

Pentire utilise natural coastal botanicals along with Rosemary, Oakwood and Blood Orange to create a bittersweet aperitif perfect for Summer. Lover of Aperol or Campari? This one is for you. Perfectly paired with soda water or tonic water and a wedge of orange over ice in a wine glass.

Small Bottle Of Adrift

Not only did we feature Pentire’s newest spirit, but we also showcased a 20cl bottle of their original spirit Adrift. This is Pentire’s alcohol free take on a gin. Both combined together formed this months’ cocktail which you can re-create below

Cocktail of the Month 1: The Coastal Negroni

1. Take a rocks glass and add one super large ice cube.  

2. Pour over 50ml Pentire Coastal and 50ml Pentire Adrift.

3. Stir. For best results add a squeeze of fresh grapefruit juice into the glass.

4. Garnish with a twist of orange.

Cocofly 

One Can Of Sparkling Coconut Water

Recently getting a shout out from David Gandy as his go to drink, Cocofly is refreshing, hydrating and perfect for a summer’s day. Given its gently sparkling nature it also happens to be delicious with alcohol-free spirits. 

Cocktail of the Month 2: The Tropical Spritz

1. 50ml Pentire Coastal over ice in a wine glass.

2. Top with Cocofly Coconut Water.

3. Garnish with a slice of orange.

Happy Soda x 2 - 0 Sugar

Can Of Lemonade and Can Of Watermelon & Strawberry

All natural, zero sugar sodas! The perfect delicate flavour for your alcohol-free serve and a cupboard essential this Summer. 

Perfect Serves:

1. 50ml Pentire Coastal over ice topped with Watermelon & Strawberry. Garnish with a wedge of watermelon.

2. 50ml Pentire Adrift over ice topped with Lemonade. Garnish with a slice of lemon or orange.
